If you're outside of the UK you may not be aware that they went on lockdown from this week. Work has been disrupted, kids are going nuts in the house and taking over remote, PCs and laptops. Never fear though, Osprey Publishing has come to our collective aid aiming to entertain and educate I'll let them explain the complicated plan themselves.

Osprey's catalogue is extensive, to say the least, currently, they have 25 different series and they have picked this initial selection from five different series. So there is something for everyone. My personal favourite is the Sassanian Elite Cavalry, and obviously the Martini-Henry rifle has a special place in my heart for certain filmatic reasons.
But honestly even the areas I'm not currently interested in I have still grabbed the books because you never know when something will grab you. I'm looking at you Blackbeard and Blood and Plunder upcoming plastics... I have no will.
If you're a fan of history you'll know who Osprey Publishing are they have produced books like the Men-At-Arms series that before the interwebz were the go-to source for colour plates to show us how to paint our minis.
These have extended and expanded over the years into the massive catalogue that we see today. If you're a sci-fi or a fantasy fan and have never dabbled with the dusty old historics I recommend grabbing these books while they're free. Have a read of Blackbeards raids, or the soldiers who faced each other in the Pacific, you may find something that scratches an itch you didn't know you have and if not, well a bit of education never harmed anyone.
